As many of our patients know, for years we have used the Meharg Money program to reward our patients for their hard work and loyalty. Patients could earn Meharg Money in variety of ways including arriving to appointments on time, getting good report cards, and participating in contests. The saved money could then be traded in for FSO gear like beach towels, t-shirts, and water bottles. While this program has been very successful we recently discovered a way to make it even better!

Years ago, we began the Franklin Square Orthodontics Store. Using Meharg Money, patients can purchase a variety of water bottles, bags, towels, hoodies, and t-shirts with the FSO Logo on them. These items have been a huge hit and let to our popular Where in the World Is Franklin Square Orthodontics Calendar contest. One thing that makes Franklin Square Orthodontics unique is that we have our own orthodontic lab onsite. 
Most orthodontic practices send impressions to other labs to create retainers, and other orthodontic appliances. The benefit of having our own lab is that we have a faster turn around time to make retainers and we have the ability to quickly alter other orthodontic appliances that most other practices would have to ship to a dental lab. We are proud to have Dick as our in house lab technician. When patients come in to get retainers our clinical assistants take impressions that Dick uses to custom make each retainer. After Dick makes the retainer Dr. Meharg then fits and adjusts the retainers for each patient. Our onsite lab is just one way Franklin Square Orthodontics offers high quality care in the most efficient way possible.
